Banned Book Week Bookeasy

Last night’s Bookeasy was incredible. We had a great turnout, great readers, and great bands. It was a wonderful kick off to Banned Books Week here in New York City.

Our featured acts, Secret Handshake and James Jameson rocked the house and keep us energized and we had tons of great readers. What readers! We had folks we know new friends who turned up just to read their favorites. The banned books we heard from included Ulysses, The Catcher In the Rye, And Tango Makes Three, The Absolutely True Story of a Part Time Indian, and more.

Thanks to everyone who came out, to our readers, to our bands, and to our great hosts at The Way Station.
