Urban Librarians Unite is committed to supporting libraries and librarians in the city. The main focus of our work has been in New York City where we are based. ULU regularly pushes the advocacy envelope with interesting and innovative events and in your face activism. Urban Librarians Unite tries to promote and contribute to the dialog of library science with an annual conference offering information for working frontline urban librarians. We also support the community through street librarianship, emergency Mini Libraries, and more.
