Urban Librarians Unite – Romantasy Gala
For almost 20 years, Urban Librarians Unite has been the scrappy, get-it-done crew showing up for library workers, no fuss, no frills, just a lot of heart and a lot of hustle. This year, we’re doing something we’ve never done before: throwing ourselves a fancy party.
Join us on October 14th in the heart of Brooklyn for a night that’s going to be equal parts glamour, whimsy, and chaos-in-the-best-way. That’s just how we do things.
We’re going full Romantasy for the theme, so break out your best fae-court finery. We’ve got a nationally recognized emcee joining us, great local music to keep the night moving, and (yes, really) a burlesque tarot card reader to tell your fortune.
It’s a celebration of nearly two decades of showing up for library workers, and a chance to help us keep doing it for 20 more. Come dressed up, ready to have a good time, and support the work that keeps libraries thriving.
