Billee Zabriskie was the child of immigrants, a second wave feminist, a pillar to her community, and a matriarch to her family. She had a deep life long love of books and of children and loved connecting the two things together. In the final years of her life she took great joy and pride in the work that ULU did with Unaccompanied Minors, Migrants, and Refugee Children.
In memory of Billee Zabriskie and with deep love for her family we are raising funds to continue the work ULU started during her life and provide more books for the children she cared so much about.
All proceeds will go directly to putting books into kids hands. There’s no administrative fees on this fundraiser and all donations are fully tax deductible. We will be trying to focus on helping kids in places where she lived and communities that she touched.
When you go to our donation page please tick the box for Billee’s Book Fund for Migrant Children. This is an ongoing campaign and we will be helping as many kids in as many communities for as long as we can.
Thank you.
